From Pack 200 Cary
Two roles, (1) tracking and reports, (2) purchasing and distributing
Pack Advancement:
Typically filled by two parents sharing the tasks.
- Announce deadline for monthly inputs to the Leaders List approximately 14+ days prior to a Pack meeting.
- Repeat that announcement Sunday night a week before a Pack meeting.
- Run final reports of entered records on Tuesday/Wednesday prior to the Pack meeting.
- Report is reviewed against stock on-hand to identify shopping list.
- Visit the Scout Shop to purchase awards.
- Print labels for awards/Scouts. (zip lock baggies)
- Package the awards and labels into Den bundles. (paper bags)
- Deliver the bundles to the Pack meeting.
- Pull out any left-over awards from the leaders folders (Scout Closet, 2015)
- Help Cubmaster distribute the awards at the Pack meeting. (ACM also can do this.)
- Manage left-over awards using the leaders folders in the Scout Closet.
