Water Play Day
Things to bring to event:
Parents to supervise events
Water rocket prepared to launch
Water Shoes or shoes you don’t mind getting wet (no shoes on slip and slide)
Bug Spray
Towel (for return trip home)
Final on event to take place:
0900 (9am) Pledge of Allegiance to United State of America
0905 Safety briefing
0910 Cary Fire Department (CFD) to explain use of water in putting out fire (45 minutes per CFD) and how trucks work a location of fire.
0950 to 1000(10am) or following CFD
- Break into Dens or divided scouts into manageable groups
- We can start a group at each event and make sure they rotate through them all
Slip in Slide (30 Feet long)
- Need two adult to supervise entering and exiting of slide
Make sure NO shoes are worn during this event
Dunking bucket
- Need one or two adults to supervise event
Squirt Gun Shooting Gallery
- need two adult to supervise this event
Once we have rotated through events
Rockets will be launched
- need adults to supervise launch of rockets
Then Water balloon Toss to Scouts as final show down!
- need volunteers to fill water balloons for this during morning events.
Jennifer donated water balloons and a sling shot and will need three adults to load and launch balloons.
