Food:

We catered this event, since many families bring in store bought food items to a pot luck and this should save families time. We asked for donations to help offset the food costs. Despite the term "cater", we are just going to pickup food and do all the setup ourselves. This costs much less than actual catering.

For 2018, we had 147 "slots" on the sign up page filled, plus guests from the bidging troops.

Menu:

From City BBQ - ordered:

• 25 lbs beef brisket. // slightly too much, we had about abit left over
• 20 lbs pork
• Many (120?) buns
• Tray of hush puppies.  // we needed more hush puppies
• Tray of chicken fingers. // we could have used more
• 5 trays of baked bean.  // too much beans
• 3 trays of mac & cheese. // not enough mac & cheese
• 2 trays of creamy slaw.   // too much
• disposable table settings for 150 people

From Jet's Pizza:

• cheese pizza
• pepperoni pizza
• super special
• all meaty

From Grocery store:

• 12oz cans of Coke products, including Coke Zero and Fanta
• Gallon jugs of sweet tea, unsweet tea,  and lemonade

from Costco:

• 4 Sheet cakes - 2 choc, 2 vanialla - ordered - Costco Apex pickup on 02/09
