2015 Summer Camps

Cub Scout Day Camp is a Council-organized, themed, 5-day program for rising 1st-5th grade boys aged 6-11, and is offered at a reasonable cost.

The daily program centers on the ideals of Scouting and the outdoor  program:

  • Shooting Sports (BB guns and Archery)
  • Sports and Games
  • Nature Crafts and Cooking
  • Skits and Songs
  • Midday programs (Demonstrations and guest speakers)

If you have a friend, they do not have to be a scout to attend!

Cary Day Camp

When: August 10-14
Hours: 8:00-4:30 Monday – Thursday; 8:00-2:30 Friday
Where: Westwood Baptist Church, 200 Westhigh St. (map)

Archery and BBs; no fishing.

If the Cary camp dates don’t work for you, consider one of the others:

Raleigh Day Camp

When: June 29 – July 3
Where: Elks Lodge, 5538 Leadmine Rd. (map)

Wake Forest Day Camp

When: June 22-26
Where: Wake Forest LDS, 1524 Jenkins Rd. (map)

Fuquay-Varina Day Camp

When: June 22-26
Where: American Legion, 6400 Johnson Pond Rd. (map)

There are also camps in Durham, Hillsborough, Sanford, Louisburg, and Fayetteville:
The Twilight camps announced so far are in Louisburg and Fayetteville.


Cub/Webelos Resident Camp

When: July 26-29
Where: Camp Durant (map)
Signup: registration is not yet open

Tents and food provided.
The dining hall is air-conditioned.
