2017 God and Family

Webelos families,

If your son’s would like to participate in the God and Family religious emblem program with Pack 200 please sign up using the Sign-Up Genius link below.  A big thanks to Heather Wong for volunteering her time to lead up this program for our Scouts.


Scouts are also welcome to pursue this award (or equivalents) outside of FUMC with their family’s religious institution.  Pack 200 offers this optional class as a service, it is not required.


Program description:  Discover how building and strengthening families can be compared to making   pizza. Study the Bible to learn about God’s recipe for living together as children of our heavenly Father.


Dates: Sundays – October 1st, 15th, 22nd, 29th, November 5th and 12th

Rooms: 210 (church map)

Times: 3:30 – 5:00 pm

Bible: Deep Blue Kids Bible (AMZN) or Sparks Bible (AMZN)

Details: If you are interested in participating in the God and Family religious emblems program through Pack 200, please signup.  We need to know how many scouts will be participating, so that we can have adequate supplies and workbooks (which the pack pays for). Dress in Class B uniform.

2017 Arrow of Light USS Yorktown Camping

The annual Arrow of Light  trip to the USS Yorktown will be Friday-Sunday, November 17-19 2017.

The USS Yorktown is at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

This year, activities will include a tour of the USS Yorktown, sleeping on the ship in the crew living quarters, visiting the Fort Sumter on Saturday and lots of Play-Time!

2017 Summer Adopt-A-Spot

When: Sunday, Sep 10 2017, 2:00pm-3:00pm
Where: Godbold Park (map); meet at the restrooms by the playground.

  • Waiver (new one needed every time)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen and bug spray
  • Wear your Cub Scout T-shirt (“Class B”) and closed-toed shoes
  • Work gloves

Please arrive by 1:45 to get organized. All scouts will have at least one buddy while working.

The Town will provide participants with trash bags, gloves and disposable vests and will remove the filled bags from the site. Orange bags are for trash, white/clear bags are for recycling.

The Pack will provide a treat!

2017 Every Kid in a Park
