2017 Recharter and Medical Forms

The pack recharters on a calendar-year basis.

Medical Forms

Pack 200 requires every scout to have parts A and B on file.

This is a fill-able PDF, with some fields pre-completed:

Recommend you save a copy after completing it so you can re-use next year.

Webelos II’s also need to complete part C, which includes a physical.
Save a copy, you will need it when bridging to the Troop.

Please complete and return at the first den meeting of the new year with a copy of your insurance card.

Online Payments

We accept payment via PayPal. If you need to recharter for more than one scout, you can do so after you click the “Add to Cart” button. This will take to you a PayPal page that will let you specify the number of scouts you need to recharter.

This year, the fee is $57 per scout for all ranks except Arrow of Light ($39), and is due by Jan 8th.
Please pay promptly as the pack must remit to council.

Facts about Pack 200:

  • Pack 200 is chartered by the Young Men’s Bible Class at First United Methodist Church in Cary (FUMCC) and has been an active organization for over 60 years.
  • Pack 200 is part of the Crosswinds District of BSA’s Occoneechee Council.
  • Pack 200 is one of the largest Packs in the Council with over 100 boys in 10 Dens. With our long history of good leadership and active families, we are able to provide a program that is recognized as being one of the best and most complete in the Council!

Facts about re-charter and the Scouting Year:

  • The Boy Scouts of America was incorporated on February 8, 1910, and was chartered by Congress in 1916.
  • The Boy Scouts of America re-charter with the Congress each year, followed by the Councils re-chartering with the National Organization. Lastly, we re-charter with the Council, and this happens in January. Our new charter will run through December 2016.
  • To get all of our paperwork correct, we start work on this in December and have everything turned in before we re-charter with Council in January!

Purpose of the Boy Scouts of America

That the purpose of this corporation shall be to promote, through organization and cooperation with other agencies, the ability of boys to do things for themselves and others, to train them in Scoutcraft, and to teach them patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred virtues, using the methods which are now in common use by Boy Scouts.
