2016 Day Camps

Cub Scout Day Camp is a Council-organized, themed, 5-day program for rising 1st-5th grade boys aged 6-11, and is offered at a very reasonable cost.  Families are expected to fill at least one volunteer-day.  Boy Scouts can earn Service Hours for volunteering.

The daily program centers on the ideals of Scouting and the outdoor  program:

  • Shooting Sports (BB guns and Archery)
  • Sports and Games
  • Nature Crafts and Cooking
  • Skits and Songs
  • Midday programs (Demonstrations and guest speakers)

If you have a friend, they do not have to be a Scout to attend!
Sisters of attending Cub Scouts in the same age range are also welcome, and childcare is provided for volunteers.

The theme this year is  “CSI: Cub Scouts Investigate

Cary Day Camp

When: August 8-12
Hours: 8:00-4:30 Monday – Thursday; 8:00-2:30 Friday
Where:  St. Michael Catholic Church, 804 High House Rd. (map)

Archery and BBs; no fishing.
